One of the most common problems a computer user runs into is getting the printer to install properly. You'll try over and over but it still simply will not work. When this happens to you, try the following. Go to your PRINTERS AND FAXES folder and delete the printer in question from the list of devices. Then remove any cables connecting the printer directly to your computer. If you've got the printer's installation CD, put it in your ROM drive. The installation procedure should start running, so just follow the on-screen instructions. And remember: do NOT connect the printer to the computer until the installer's instructions tell you.
